Job Description
The position requires a core competency in welding but is multi-faceted in nature and will provide an opportunity to receive extensive training in all aspects of fabrication of custom signs and awnings. The ideal candidate is someone who is looking for a full time, long term position that enjoys learning multiple skills and working in a fast paced work environment.
The job includes, but not limited to:
• MIG Welding various aluminum plate and extrusions
• Cutting/ Grinding and prepping of various materials
• Assisting other welders in product setup
Job Requirements
• Preference given to those with a welding certification
• Must have good English language skills
• Experience within the sign/awning industry is a definite asset
• Experience with newer Pulse welders and its various options are an asset
• Experience with the use of spool and push/pull welding torches
• Overtime will be required from time to time
